Violin, Viola, Cello
Emiko was born in White Plains, New York and raised in Tokyo, Japan, where she received eleven years of training on the Suzuki Violin Method. She has a Master of Music degree in Violin Performance, and has been working on a Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Texas. As a performer, Emiko has performed internationally with orchestras in Japan, Switzerland, Portugal and in the U.S, including Palm Beach Pops Orchestra, Florida Sunshine Pops Orchestra, Austin Lyric Opera, the Antonio Symphony Orchestra, and the Miami Symphony Orchestra.
Ms. Wennerholt has worked as a private violin instructor since 2005, served as a graduate teaching assistant in college, worked as a substitute orchestra teacher for the Austin School District, and has worked with the Greater Miami Youth Symphony. She is available to teach beginning to advanced violin and viola, and beginning to intermediate cello.
