Guild Piano, Flute, Piccolo, Saxophone
Born into a musical family, Jean Hackley has been teaching at Music Showcase
since 2000, and holds a bachelor's degree in Music Education from the
University of New Hamphire and a Nursing Degree from Quincy City Hospital.
Jean and her siblings each followed the musical footsteps of their father,
music director of the Milton Public School system for 30 years, and went on
to study, play and teach music. Clarinet, bass clarinet, trombone, piano,
trumpet, french horn and flute were some of the diverse instruments played
in the family, and the Hackley's even started their own band.
Jean has a true passion for one-on-one teaching, and she delights in the
progress and growth of her students each day. An extremely dedicated teacher
and professional, Jean who truly cares about each student who steps into her
music studio, and love teaching all ages. She is a certified National Guild
of Piano teacher, and is available for flute, piccolo and saxophone
instruction.
