Music Theory,Voice, Piano

Ms. Sherry Fagan has lived in Florida for 25 years. She attended the University of Tampa where she received her Bachelor's in Music Education and Arkansas State University where she completed her course studies for her Masters in Music in Choral Conducting. Ms.Fagan has been teaching voice part-time privately for 15 years and has adjudicated in Florida, Arkansas, and Missouri. She has sung with the New York Philharmonic in Carnegie Hall where she was a choir member performing "O Nata Lux" by Lauridsen, the Arkansas State Symphony at Little Rock Performing Arts Center where she sung as a choir member performing "Carmina Burana" by Orff and has performed various repertoire with The Delta Symphony.

Ms. Fagan is an active member in her church where she assists in running sound, directing the choir and leadership with the twenty-something ministry called Revolution. She has enjoyed performing in musicals such as "Grease", "Little Shop of Horrors", "Pajama Game", and snippets of "West Side Story", "Oklahoma", "The Sound of Music", "Cats" and more. Ms. Fagan has sung The National Anthem on various occasions for The Devil Rays, The Race for Sight, St.Andrews Triathlon, The University of Tampa and the National Volleyball League. She has also been invited to sing in Wales, Ecuador and Ireland as well as on WB and the Disney Radio Station. One day she hopes to conduct a choir and an orchestra performing great works by composers such as Whitacre, Schubert, and Mozart.

On the personal side, Ms. Fagan likes to laugh. She likes movies (mostly romantic comedies, yes she is a sap at times, ok, ok, maybe more than sometimes), horseback riding, camping, dancing, dining out with friends (YUM... Cheddars and Bonefish), doing crafts (Yeah Partylite), and being a total goof ball!!! She has four loves in her life; God, her family, music, and friends. Ms. Fagan hopes that her students catch onto the passion she has for music and maybe one day be able to share it with others as well. Stop by and see her when you get a chance.
