Voice and Piano

Having taken lessons at Music Showcase for years, Thomas has come full circle and was a founding member of the Showcase Players back in 2004. He graduated from Joe E. Newsome High School in Lithia, Florida, and currently attends the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Music Education with an emphasis in Choral Music. He has been studying voice for nine years, and is a member of the Collegiate Music Educators National Conference (CMENC).

As a student at USF, Thomas has been a recipient of numerous scholarships and talent grants, and is a member of The Chamber Singers and Collegium under the direction of Dr. James K. Bass. While at USF, Thomas has been able to work with Dr. Robert Summer, Dr. Duncan Couch, and Dr. Richard Zielinski.

While in Chamber Singers, he sung with the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay and the Florida Orchestra, performing works such as the Verdi Requiem, Mendelssohn's Elijah, Haydn's Creation, Beethoven's 9th Symphony, and Schönberg's Friede auf Erden.

Outside of school, Thomas is highly active in teen musical theater and was the music director for shows such as Parade, Beauty and the Beast, Thoroughly Modern Mille, Sweeny Todd and The Pirates of Penzance. His passions include jazz music, musical theater, sports, and spending time with his family.
