If you have a young actor who loves the theatre – or one who’s ready to take their acting skills to the next level – this is a class you’ll want to know about.

Introducing Stepping Into Character, a brand-new 9-week intermediate acting program from FAOPA designed to help young performers go beyond simply learning their lines and start truly bringing a character to life.

Beginning in September, students will dive into:

🎭 Character Development
🎬 Scene Work
🎤 Monologues
✨ Improvisation
🌟 Performance Skills

Along the way, they’ll learn how to make bold, authentic choices, explore what makes a character tick, and develop the confidence and skills to make their performances more compelling.

And honestly? That’s the kind of theatre training we LOVE. It’s not just about getting onstage – it’s about learning how to understand a character, make choices, take risks, and connect with an audience.
