Summer is in full swing here at Music Showcase, and with it, a vibrant burst of musical theatre magic!

We’re thrilled to remind you about the incredible journey our young performers have been on throughout our summer musical theatre programs so far. They’ve poured their hearts and souls into rehearsals, learning lines, perfecting songs, and mastering choreography, and now it’s time for them to shine on stage!

This month, we’ve had the immense pleasure of hosting three fantastic productions, and if you haven’t caught a performance yet, there’s still time to experience the talent and dedication firsthand. Coming to a show is a wonderful way to not only support these amazing local kids but also to see if the world of musical theatre sparks something special in you or your own aspiring performer!

Here’s a look at our June line-up:

Disney’s The Little Mermaid Jr.

• • Our talented cast brings this beloved underwater adventure to life! Join Ariel, Prince Eric, Sebastian, and all your favorite characters for a fin-tastic show.

  • Heads Up! Some performances are already sold out due to popular demand, so if you’re hoping to catch this one, act fast!

The Pirates of Penzance

• • • Get ready for swashbuckling fun and hilarious antics! Our cast delivers a fresh take on this Gilbert and Sullivan classic, filled with memorable tunes and witty dialogue.
    • Performances: June 20 – June 22

Freaky Friday The Musical

• • Prepare for a wild ride as a mother and daughter magically switch bodies in this heartwarming and hilarious musical. It’s a modern tale with a fantastic score!
  • Performances: June 27 – June 29

These young artists have worked incredibly hard, developing their acting, singing, and dancing skills, building confidence, and forming lasting friendships. Their passion for theatre is infectious, and you won’t want to miss seeing their efforts come to life on stage.
