Do your kids love to sing, dance, act—or just let their imaginations run wild? FAOPA (Florida Academy of Performing Arts) has something exciting just for them!
Starting this fall, every Thursday from 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM, FAOPA is launching a brand-new Home School Theatre Program for students in grades K–12. This is an incredible opportunity for kids to step into the magical world of musical theatre—whether they’re brand new to the stage or already little Broadway stars in the making.
🎠What makes it special?
-
Weekly theatre workshops packed with fun, creativity, and teamwork.
-
Hands-on experience in acting, singing, and stage performance.
-
A chance to shine in a full theatre production at the end of the program!
And here’s the best part: students will be bringing the classic story to life with a performance of Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory – Theatre for Young Audiences. Golden tickets, Oompa-Loompas, and all the sweet magic of Willy Wonka will come alive on stage!
🌟 Theatre is more than just performing—it’s about building confidence, friendships, and creativity. Kids will learn how to express themselves, work together, and experience the thrill of telling a story on stage. It’s the kind of fun that stays with them long after the final curtain call.
