This weekend, the stage at the Florida Academy of Performing Arts will transform into the mesmerizing underworld of Hadestown Teen Edition — and trust us, you don’t want to miss it!

🎭 From August 1–3, our talented 5th–12th grade performers will bring this iconic, folk-opera-inspired musical to life with six incredible performances. But this isn’t your average summer camp production. This was an audition-based intensive camp — meaning every student on that stage earned their place through talent, hard work, and dedication.

🎶 With intertwining tales of love, loss, and hope, Hadestown dives deep into the stories of Orpheus & Eurydice and Hades & Persephone. Blending the soulful sounds of vintage New Orleans jazz and folk storytelling, this sung-through musical explores the powerful pull between fear and love, doubt and faith, and nature versus industry — all told by a phenomenal group of young performers.
